Thank you for visiting and I'm happy you found your way to this little site.
For years I've been wanting to create a place for Bloc Party fans to find correct lyrics and/or transcriptions as accurate as possible across all Bloc Party's discography, b-sides and demos, but I never found the right platform. I played around with a Wiki, but it was too time-consuming. A few years ago (2019), I decided to build a "lyrics website" using Wix. It turns out, designing and building on Wix was so much fun and gave me so much flexibility that I ended up building a full Bloc Party website with tons of content (including a lyrics page). The only issue with that website is that it was very dynamic and I didn't have the time to maintain it and keep it up-to-date. Moreover, Wix is a paid service (subscription), and I just couldn't afford it, so I moved the website to the "free version", which doesn't give me access to the advanced options or adding new content. So, for the time being, www.blocparty.info is frozen in time.
Here comes Bear ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ!
A couple months ago, I came across this blogging platform and I immediately fell in love with it. It works just like the old Wordpress or Tumblr, but stripped down like old-school message boards, and with the flexibility of CSS customisation. So, I found a new home for Bloc Party Lyrics.
